you will meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel,your guide will take first to visit the monastery of Saint Simon the Tanner which is located inside the mountain. The monastery consists of seven churches; all of them are carved inside the mountain. Your guide will give you an introduction about the Christianity of Egypt. Your guide will explain how they carved the church, how was El Mokattam Mountain was moved from the north of Cairo to the centre, enjoy some free time inside the church.
